In October 2020, PITAKA has released its MagEZ case for the iPad Pro. Having a soft spot for minimalistic gadget cases, I had no hesitation in getting my hands on one.

The PITAKA MagEZ case is a minimalistic case for the 2018/2020 iPad Pros and 2020 iPad Air. The MagEZ case is made from PITAKA’s aramid fiber, carefully engineered to work perfectly with Apple’s Magic Keyboard.

MAGEZ CASE FITTING PERFECTLY WITH MAGIC KEYBOARD

This light weight case (86g for 11” and 112g for 12.9”) is meant to be left on your iPad Pro at all times, even when you are using the Apple Magic Keyboard.

My 2018 11” iPad Pro fits perfectly in the case, which protects its back, three of its sides and all four corners. Even though the case is extremely thin, it provides excellent protection against bumps. This is definitely not for users who have the tendency to drop your iPad from any some height.

The sides of the case allow for all the needs of daily usage. It has a push-through button for the power and volume buttons. There are cutouts for speakers and power port and allows the Apple Pencil to attach on the top (landscape mode) and charged through the case.

At the back, the MagEZ case has the ring that provides extra protection to the iPad camera. Not only that, it also comes with the smart connector that allows your iPad Pro to communicate with the Smart Keyboard without removing the cover!

Finally, the quality of the case is excellent; something you would expect from PITAKA. The thin aramid fiber just provides the sleek and elegant look to the case.
